摘要： PURPOSE:To greatly improve the life of the tool, to obviate sticking of solder and to enable the control of the consumption of the tool by using a natural diamond single crystal or synthetic diamond single crystal as a tool blank material and joining this tool blank material to a tool base material. CONSTITUTION:The diamond single crystal is synthesized by a high-temp. high- pressure synthesis method and is cut by a laser in such a manner that the cut surface attains 100 bearing. The cut surface is polished to form the tool blank material 1 having prescribed surface roughness. This tool blank material 1 is further cut to a prescribed size by the laser and is vacuum-brazed to the tool base material 2 consisting of Mo by a brazing filler metal of an Ag-Cu-Ti alloy, by which the soldering tool A is formed. As a result, the constitution of joining the tool blank material 1 consisting of the diamond single crystal which is highly resistant to wear, corrosion and heat to the tool base material 2 is adopted and, therefore, the life of the tool is greatly improved and since the wettability is low, there is no sticking of solder and the consumption of the solder is limited to a specified level.
