SOLUTION: During excavation work in the ground G in which an excavating tool 100 is lowered, the front end face 11a and the collar 11b of a fitting part 11 are brought into a close contact with the lower bottom face 21a and the annular face 21b of a to-be-fitted part 21, respectively, to make it difficult for earth and sand to enter between a tool body 10 and an excavating unit 20. When a lifting work of lifting up the excavation tool 100 is started, a prescribed fluid is discharged from the inside of the excavating tool 100 to the outside thereof through a gap formed between the tool body 10 and the excavating unit 20. This prevents earth and sand from entering between the tool body 10 and the excavating unit 20 to keep the tool body 10 and the excavating unit 20 from being engaged with each other via earth and sand, allowing the excavating unit 20 to be removed easily from the tool body 10.

The ridges 22 integrally molded at such polishing material layer are so designed as to give rise to crack by inducing a high local stress at a rock. The crushing effect is attained with the lower force by locally inducing the crack.

摘要： PURPOSE: To obtain wear resisting and shock resisting material by obtaining good bonding in the respective interfaces by coating a support of a cemented carbide with a continuous intermediate bonding thin layer for preventing metal diffusion, and then sintering the support and the diamond powder under high pressure at a high temperature. CONSTITUTION: A TiN layer C is coated on a support B by a PVD or a CVD, and then the support B and the diamond powder A are sintered under pressure and at a high temperature to produce a complex. In this case, though the TiN layer thickness of the intermediate layer is small, in the subsequent sintering process, the layer is stable to keep continuity. Accordingly, they prevent consumption of binder metal, especially cobalt from the support B, and in its connection, works as an effective barrier to diffusion of such a metal component for preventing embrittlement of an important support material. Thus, good bonding is attained in the interface between the support B and TiN layer C and in the interface between TiN layer C and the diamond A.
