    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for drilling a hole by which a plurality of holes can be drilled at a time and the working efficiency of a drilling operation can be improved, and a method for drilling a hole.SOLUTION: The device for drilling the hole includes: a drilling head 61; a plurality of hole drilling tools 63 detachably attached to the drilling head 61; a driving device 64 for moving the drilling head 61 in the radial direction and axial direction of attachment holes 60 to be formed on a tube sheet 45; and a controller 65 for driving the driving device 64. The hole drilling tools 63 are disposed on the drilling head 61 along the arrangement direction of the attachment holes 60 and at an equal interval from one another, which is an integer multiple of equal to or larger than double the pitch of the attachment holes 60. The controller 65 drives the driving device 64 so that the drilling head 61 is moved in the arrangement direction of the hole drilling tools 63 at each pitch of the attachment holes 60 so as to perform drilling by the hole drilling tools 63.
