    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in mass analysis for desorbing/deionizing a measurement target substance, it is difficult for an analysis target substance to compatibly implement soft ionization of the analysis target substance and high ionization efficiency in each measurement place without damaging a two-dimensional distribution state of the analysis target substance.SOLUTION: An ionization adjuvant containing organic acid of which the boiling point is 150°C or higher, having a functional group represented by -(CF)COOH and polyalcohol of which the fusion point is 20°C or lower under ordinary pressure and of which the boiling point is 150°C or higher is imparted to an analysis target substance. Therefore, ionization efficiency is improved by effectively adding proton to the analysis target substance from the organic acid that is a constituent component of the ionization adjuvant, and the polyalcohol suppresses fragmentation. As a result, these actions exert synergistically to enable high-efficiency mass analysis and imaging over wide molecular weight domains.
