    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crank arm device preventing rust and damage to a screw part. SOLUTION: A crank arm device includes an axle having a first and a second end part having an axle body and spline, wherein the second end part has an outer peripheral surface and a threaded inner circumference surface, an axle bolt having a threaded outer peripheral surface screwed into the threaded inner peripheral surface of the second end portion of the axle and a crank arm having an axle mounting boss defining an opening for receiving the second end portion of the axle therein. The axle has a flange that abuts on a first crank arm from an axial direction outside and engages with the first crank arm at the first end part and engages with the second crank arm at the second end part.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform fitting work desirably even when the fitting work is performed while a lock arm is elastically-deflected.SOLUTION: In a fitting process of first and second housings 10 and 30, a lock arm 36 is elastically-deflected in an unlocking direction intersecting with a fitting direction of the housings 10 and 30 when the lock arm 36 slidably contacts an induction surface 17 of a lock part 16. The induction surface 17 includes: a first induction surface 17A that is disposed in an area at a front end side in the fitting direction to the second housing 30; and a second induction surface 17B that is disposed in a backward area of the first induction surface 17A in the fitting direction to the second housing 30 and has a steep slope area 22 whose inclination angle is greater than that of the first induction surface 17A with respect to the fitting direction of the first and second housings 10 and 30.
