    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable solid tire constituted of an inner layer made of rubber material and an outer layer made of polyurethane elastomer material by effectively enhancing connection strength between these two layers. SOLUTION: The compound solid tire 10 is constructed by forming circumferential grooves 22 and 22 having a predetermined depth on an outer peripheral surface 16 of the inner layer 14 made of the rubber material, and integrally forming the outer layer 18 on the outer peripheral surface of the inner layer 14 by positioning anchor sections 24 and 24 integrally formed with the same polyurethane elastomer material as the outer layer 18 so as to bury the interior of the circumferential grooves 22 and 22.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-supporting type tire for a wheel of a bicycle and a motorcycle having low rolling resistance and an excellent impact absorption property similar to a usual pneumatic tire in spite of being the self-supporting type tire having no danger of blowout, burst and deflation. SOLUTION: The self-supporting type tire has an outer surface layer (5) contacted with the ground (8); an internal support layer (6) formed of a flexible polyurethane elastomer having an open cell structure; and a flexible membrane (9). The internal support layer (6) occupies at least a part of an internal volume of the tire (1) and the flexible membrane (9) substantially has a shape of an outer layer (5) and compresses the internal support layer (6) in a radial direction.
