This magnetic head 10 has the earth terminal 7a projected at the rear end side of the case 8 as shown in a figure 4, so generated static electricity is picked up through the tip of the spacing plate 7 arranged with the tip part exposed to the magnetic tape sliding surface side and led out through the earth terminal 7a.
