摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce errors at a writing/reading time by shielding external noise by a shielding member opened with a directional property and adjusting the density of magnetic flux jumped into a read/write core. CONSTITUTION:Three sides excluding the back of a magnetic head 2 in the rotating direction A of a floppy disk is surrounded by a shielding member 10 consisting of a continuous approximately U-shaped magnetic material. Since the quantity of leaked magnetic flux jumped from an erase core into the shielding member 10 is reduced in said constitution, the density of the leaked magnetic flux jumped into the read/write core 5 is also reduced and the asymmetry of a recording signal is improved.
