    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter switching device which can simultaneously select and control transmission wavelength bands of a large number of optical fiber systems, accelerates the switching speed of an optical filter to permit high-speed drive, facilitates assembling and aligning and can miniaturize the device.
      SOLUTION: The optical filter switching device is provided with: an optical fiber 10 for incidence; a collimator lens 12 which converts emission light of the optical fiber for incidence to parallel light; a converging lens 14 which converts the parallel light to convergent light; an optical fiber 16 for emission on which the convergent light is made incident; and an insertion driving mechanism which moves and stops a selected optical filter to the incidence location of the parallel light. Groups to which collimator pairs belong are made plural, gravitational locations of parallel beams made by the collimator pairs belonging to each group are arranged at an angular interval approximately equal to each other on the same circumference, and optical filters 24a, ..., 25c provided with effective areas through which all of the parallel beams made by the collimator pairs belonging to one group can pass are arranged on the circumference having the same radius with a filter holder 20.
