    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser surgery unit which can perform a series of advanced functions by performing a series of basic functions and being remote-controlled.
      SOLUTION: In an embodiment of this invention, a laser surgery system with a series of basic functions can perform a series of advanced functions by remote control. In one embodiment of this invention, a basic laser surgery system is connected to an advanced control unit. This makes the advanced control unit control the basic laser surgery system, so that a series of more functions can be performed. A rarely used function is shifted to the advanced unit. Thus, the basic unit is rationalized in terms of both cost and size, the amount of learning required for the use of the basic unit becomes smaller than that of learning required for the use of a unit equipped with more functions, and the basic unit can be used in an infinite number of procedures or situations in which "integrated" unit is not desired.
