    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switching system and a control method for micromirror which permits stable control with high accuracy, by suppressing influence of temperature variation without complex structure, even in a state with attenuation given. SOLUTION: The optical switching system comprises: a connection information memory part 21 that stores connection information between input ports and output ports; a control characteristic memory part 23 that stores control characteristic data of micromirrors with respect to each of a plurality of temperatures; a temperature sensor 25 that detects a temperature in the optical switching system; and a computing part 22 that refers to control characteristic data DT stored in the control characteristic memory part 23 and calculates controlling quantities SR for controlling angles of the micromirrors, based on the connection information stored in the connection information memory part 21 and the temperature detected by the temperature sensor.
