    • PURPOSE:To prevent a back fire phenomenon caused by fuel oil flowed back to vapor supplying passage 4 by a method wherein an atomizing valve is temporarily opened at the final stage of a burner purge and the fuel oil back flowed into the vapor supplying passage is injected out of the burner gun. CONSTITUTION:A purge valve 9 is opened substantially in simultaneously with a closing of a burner valve 5 at the time of t0 for diminishing the burner and an atomixing valve 7 is closed after a period of t0 to the time t1. Then, prior to the closing of the purge valve 9 after t0 to t2, the atomixing valve 7 is opened again after t0 to t2, resulting in the fuel oil back flowed to the vapor supplying passage 4 with the purged vapor is pushed by the atomized vapor and injected out of the burner gun 1 from the fuel supplying passage 3. Therefore, the residual oil is not adhered in the vapor supplying passage 4. Thus, after t2 to a certain time of t2-t3, the purge valve 9 and the atomizing valve 7 are closed substantially in simultaneous with each other to complete the purging of the burner.

When the operating member 4 is returned to an open position C from the igniting position B, the igniting position 17 is opened and the power source voltage is not applied to the capacitor 19 but the discharge of the capacitor 19 is started, the operation of the limit time operating circuit 22 is started, and a discharge current flows through the operating solenoid 10 and the igniter 15 for a predetermined period of time, and opening of the electromagnetic safety valve during this time is held.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of raw gas by quickly closing a safety valve when the burner unit fails to be ignited by providing a charging circuit with an auxiliary charging circuit consisting of an actuating solenoid and a parallel side line. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary charging circuit 23 consisting of an actuating solenoid 10 and a parallel side line is disposed in a charging circuit 21. When an actuating member 4 is pushed, it moves back from the closed position A to the ignition position B, and when it returns to the open position C by releasing the push, a gas passage 5 is opened and at the same time an igniter 15 performs its function to ignite the burner unit 3. As the actuating member 4 returns from the ignition position B to the open position C, a switch 24 is caused to close to render the circuit 23 functioning. By this organization, it is possible to cut off the supply of gas and to automatically cut off the gas current when the flame is put out.

Although the electromotive force of a thermocouple 14 is acting upon the solenoid 10, and the solenoid 10 is more or less in an energized state, such energization is quickly erased by the reversal current to allow the quick closure of the safety valve 9.

Thereby, an ignition device 3 is re-energized and therefore can ignite the gas of pilot burner if a cause of flame extinguish is removed.
