    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a state of combustion in a furnace zone of a boiler wherein an unbalance of the state of combustion between furnace zones in a plurality is reduced by a burner angle regulator so that stable steam can be ensured. SOLUTION: A boiler having a plurality of furnace zones is constituted in such a manner that the furnace zones forming a plurality of independent states of combustion are provided in a furnace and that gas distributing dampers 3a and 3b are provided in rear passes positioned on the respective rear flow sides of the furnace zones, while heating means for main steam or/and heating means for reheated steam are provided above the furnace zones or in the rear passes. In this case, an unbalance of a state of combustion of the two furnace areas is detected on the basis of a signal of at least one deviation out of a temperature deviation of the two furnace zones from each other as to the temperature of the main steam or/and the temperature of the reheated steam heated by the heating means provided in the furnace zones or the rear passes and a deviation in an opening of the gas distributing dampers 3a and 3b from each other. By changing a combustion zone by regulating the angle of a burner disposed in each of the furnace zones, on the basis of a detection signal, the unbalance of combustion between the two furnace zones is reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a back fire phenomenon caused by fuel oil flowed back to vapor supplying passage 4 by a method wherein an atomizing valve is temporarily opened at the final stage of a burner purge and the fuel oil back flowed into the vapor supplying passage is injected out of the burner gun. CONSTITUTION:A purge valve 9 is opened substantially in simultaneously with a closing of a burner valve 5 at the time of t0 for diminishing the burner and an atomixing valve 7 is closed after a period of t0 to the time t1. Then, prior to the closing of the purge valve 9 after t0 to t2, the atomixing valve 7 is opened again after t0 to t2, resulting in the fuel oil back flowed to the vapor supplying passage 4 with the purged vapor is pushed by the atomized vapor and injected out of the burner gun 1 from the fuel supplying passage 3. Therefore, the residual oil is not adhered in the vapor supplying passage 4. Thus, after t2 to a certain time of t2-t3, the purge valve 9 and the atomizing valve 7 are closed substantially in simultaneous with each other to complete the purging of the burner.

    • PURPOSE:To stabilize feed water control when the flow rate is less than the required minimum, by a method wherein valve programs of a feed water pump overheat preventive valve are prepared separately for valve travels in the opening and closing directions, and an insensitive zone of valve travel against measured signals of delivery flow rate is provided between the opening and closing direction programs. CONSTITUTION:The delivery flow rate of a feed water pump 1 is measured by a flow meter 3, and measured signals are input to a software. That is, the feed water pump overheat preventive valve 2 is prevented from unnecessarily acting in response to a miner fluctuation in the delivery flow rate of the feed pump in the region less than the required minimum flow rate, so that supply of boiler feed water is stabilized.
