    • PURPOSE: To prevent a discharging of live gas by a method wherein a lock member is set for its unoperating condition and the lock member is ready for operation under a pushing operation of the operating lever.
      CONSTITUTION: Assuming that an operating lever member 3 is pushed own from its starting end position to its downward position, a lock member 6 is engaged with the lower surface of a control cam 15 before the member 3 is guided to its terminal end position, that is, before completion of pushing down operation and has no upward movement. Thus, the member is kept at its non- operating condition and if the pushed condition of the member is released, the member 3 is not engaged at its intermediate position and the completion of pushing of the member 3 causes the lock member 6 to be disengaged from a control cam 15, allows its upward movement to be performed. Subsequent releasing of the pushed member 3 enables an engagement with the lock member to be performed. With this arrangement, it is possible to eliminate an accidental engagement of the member which is apt to occur when the operating lever member is released in its pushing operation before its completion of pushing operation and thus it is made possible to prevent a discharging of raw gas.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a device that quickly closes a solenoid safety valve at the time of extinguishing by disposing an actuating solenoid in a discharge circuit in order to route the discharging current of the discharging circuit in the reverse direction of the charging current. CONSTITUTION:An actuating solenoid 10 is disposed in a discharge circuit 22 so that when the circuit 22 is closed and the resultant discharge current is generated, such current may be directed to the solenoid 10 in the reverse direction of the charging current. When a switch 17 is closed as an actuating member 4 retreats to the ignition position B, the charging current flows in a charge circuit 21 via the solenoid 10, and the solenoid 10 holds a safety valve 9 in the open position. Although the electromotive force of a thermocouple 14 is acting upon the solenoid 10, and the solenoid 10 is more or less in an energized state, such energization is quickly erased by the reversal current to allow the quick closure of the safety valve 9.

When the operating member 4 is returned to an open position C from the igniting position B, the igniting position 17 is opened and the power source voltage is not applied to the capacitor 19 but the discharge of the capacitor 19 is started, the operation of the limit time operating circuit 22 is started, and a discharge current flows through the operating solenoid 10 and the igniter 15 for a predetermined period of time, and opening of the electromagnetic safety valve during this time is held.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of raw gas by quickly closing a safety valve when the burner unit fails to be ignited by providing a charging circuit with an auxiliary charging circuit consisting of an actuating solenoid and a parallel side line. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary charging circuit 23 consisting of an actuating solenoid 10 and a parallel side line is disposed in a charging circuit 21. When an actuating member 4 is pushed, it moves back from the closed position A to the ignition position B, and when it returns to the open position C by releasing the push, a gas passage 5 is opened and at the same time an igniter 15 performs its function to ignite the burner unit 3. As the actuating member 4 returns from the ignition position B to the open position C, a switch 24 is caused to close to render the circuit 23 functioning. That is, in a case where the burner unit 3 fails to be ignited, the charging current of the charging circuit 21 is bypassed via the auxiliary charging circuit 23 to suspend the energization of the actuating solenoid 10. With this arrangement, even in case that the power supply of electric cell is consumed, a safe operation can be assured and a replacement time for the power supply of electric cell can be extended.
