    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition system for an oil combustor that can maintain stable ignition performance without ignition means such as a dry cell and a match.SOLUTION: This system comprises a wick 3 positioned in a space between an inner combustion tube 1 and an outer combustion tube 2 and an ignition electrode 4 positioned facing the wick 3 exposed from the top of the inner combustion tube 1 and the outer combustion tube 2. This system also comprises a power generator 15 that generates power by manual rotating operation and a charging circuit 21 connected to an output of the power generator 15 that charges power storage means 20 by the output of the charging circuit 21. The power storage means 20 is charged by power generated by the rotating operation of the power generator 15 and a high-voltage oscillation circuit 5 operates when power is supplied from the power storage means 20 to the high-voltage oscillation circuit 5 by an ignition operation using an ignition switch 19. The high-voltage oscillation circuit 5 causes spark discharge from an ignition electrode to ignite the wick 3.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ignition characteristics and flame propagation characteristics while reducing NOx emission from premixed combustion by accelerating the mixing of fuel and air in an air introduction passage formed on a mixing chamber wall of a burner and in a mixing chamber, in a gas turbine combustor.SOLUTION: The gas turbine combustor includes a plurality of combustors 10, a spark plug 13, and a cross-fire tube 15 that propagates flame between the combustors 10. Each combustor 10 includes the mixing chamber wall 32 forming the mixing chamber 31, and the burner 30 equipped with a fuel nozzle. A plurality of air introduction holes 35, 36 for introducing combustion air together with the fuel from the fuel nozzle, into the mixing chamber 31 are formed at the mixing chamber wall 32. The combustion air and fuel jetted from the air introduction hole 35 into the mixing chamber 31 are mixed in forms of mixtures m1 and m2, and directed toward the spark plug 13 and the cross-fire tube 15.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for disposing an ignitor in the liner port of a gas turbine engine.
      SOLUTION: An ignitor tube 34 disposed in a port 22 in the liner 18 of a combustor 10 comprises a first portion 48 having an inner surface 50 with an inner diameter 52 and an outer surface 54 with an outer diameter 56, a second portion 60 installed adjacent to the first portion 48 and having an inner surface 62 with an inner diameter 64 and an outer surface 66 with an outer diameter 68 extending from the outer diameter 56 of the first portion at a first end part 70 to a specified outer diameter 72 at a second end part 74, and a third portion 78 installed adjacent to the second portion 60 and having an inner surface 80 with an inner diameter 82 and an outer surface 84 with a generally same outer diameter 86 as a specified outer diameter 72. The inner diameter 64 at the second portion of the ignitor tube 34 is generally equal to the inner diameter 52 of the first portion, and the inner diameter 82 of the third portion at the third portion of the ignitor tube 34 is larger than the inner diameter 64 at the second portion 60.
