    • PURPOSE:To enable a press load to be decreased, by continuously pressing part by part an original shaped material by drawing and molding a cross groove. CONSTITUTION:If a movable upper mold 7 is lowered, a drawing mold 8, while continuously pressing part by part the external surface of a cylindrical part of an original shaped material 13, lowers reaching the upper surface of a fixed bottom mold 2. Then the drawing mold, drawing the cylindrical part of the original shaped material 13 and causing a material constituting the cylindrical part to generate plastic deformation mainly in a radial direction, forms a predetermined number of cross grooves and molds the cylindrical part of an outer race. Thereafter, a molded article is brought out by detaching the drawing mold 8 from a mold 1 and moving a cross groove mold 4 in a direction +Y to be collected in the center of the mold. Accordingly, the outer race can be manufactured by an exceptionally small press load.
