The pump has a plurality of ports located radially about the housing, and a means for injecting, into the housing via the ports, a fluid for acting on the deposits adhered on the element surfaces to remove the deposits therefrom. SOLUTION: This compressor comprises a compression mechanism part for compressing and delivering a sucked fluid; a drive motor 130 which is the drive source of the compression mechanism part; a motor housing 190 for enclosing the drive motor; and an outer cylinder 200 annularly mounted on the circumferential side of the motor housing to form the cooling jacket 210 for cooling the drive motor therewith. The outer cylinder is directly or indirectly fixed to the motor housing by two or more bolts 220 or press fitting, whereby the vibration or noise resulted from the circumference of the cooling jacket can be reduced or prevented.
