    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent apparatuses in a housing from rusting when a corrosive fluid is supplied to a scroll expansion machine and to prevent a lubricant from flowing out or emulsification by an inexpensive means.SOLUTION: In the scroll expansion machine, a rotating shaft 36 is connected to a generator 16; high-pressure steam (s) is introduced to an expansion chamber (b) through a guide passage 66; and when the energy of the high-pressure steam (s) during expansion process revolves a revolving scroll 18, the generator 16 regenerates electric power. A housing 12 includes an inlet opening 44 and an outlet opening 64, in which ventilation blades 56 are fitted to the rotating shaft 36. The ventilation blades 56 rotate to intake outside air (a) through the inlet opening 44, and the air is conducted through an air passage 62 and the backside of the revolving scroll 18 and discharged from through the outlet opening 64. By forming the air passage inside the housing 12, the high-pressure steam (s) is prevented from being directed toward the backside of the revolving scroll 18.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric compressor capable of contributing to that an allowable value of moisture to be immersed in a coolant circulation path is made larger than in the conventional case without causing increase of an installation space of a refrigeration cycle.SOLUTION: The electric compressor has: a housing 10 provided with a suction port 11 and a discharge port 12; a compression part 15 which is arranged in the housing 10 and compresses a coolant to be sucked from the suction port 11 to be discharged from the discharge port 12; and an electric motor 2 which is arranged in the housing 10 to rotate a rotational axis 21 for driving the compression part 15. The electric motor 2 has: a rotor 22 fixed to the surroundings of the rotational axis 21; and a stator 23 supported to the housing 10. In the rotor 22, a permanent magnet 31 is arranged, and an in-unit environment improving agent 32 containing at least one of an absorbent which absorbs the moisture in a unit and a neutralizer which neutralizes acid is arranged.
