摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enabling restart of an internal combustion engine having intake pipe injection by its own force without using an electric starting device and to provide a computer program and its controller.
SOLUTION: In this method for restarting the internal combustion engine 1 for, in particular, an automobile when starting a current operation period after the internal combustion engine 1 stops upon completion of preceding operation period, the internal combustion engine 1 is operated by intake pipe injection. While a cylinder 3 is in a suction process during last time rotation in the preceding operation period, fuel is injected into an intake pipe 6 and a combustion chamber 4 of the cylinder 3 is filled with air-fuel mixture. Upon completion of preceding operation period, a stop position of a piston 2 of the cylinder 3 is guaranteed, the piston 2 takes a work process position, and air-fuel mixture is sealed in the combustion chamber 4. As far as ignition of air-fuel mixture is possible, the internal combustion engine 1 is restarted by ignition of air-fuel mixture sealed in the combustion chamber 4.
