    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce toxic exhaust substance such as smoke and increase high thermal efficiency.     • PURPOSE:To increase the air flow speed and consequently enhance the combustion efficiency by a structure wherein a nozzle hole, through which air enters and exits, is provided on each of a plurality of cases, which are internally chilled along the peripheral part of a recessed combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of cases 2 are internally chilled along the peripheral part of a recessed combustion chamber 1. The entrance and exit of air in an air chamber 3 are performed through a nozzle hole 4. The volume of the air chamber 3 is determined so that the air, which exits through the nozzle hole 4 when the pressure in the combustion chamber 1 becomes below the maximum compression pressure during explosion stroke, plays a part in the progress of combustion. Consequently, the air speed is increased, resulting in enhancing the combustion efficiency.
