    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat structure having improved vibration absorption characteristics.
      SOLUTION: A seat cushion section 10 has a synthetic resin base frame 12 supported by a side frame 11 via a first elastic support mechanism 17, a synthetic resin upper-layer frame 13 supported by the base frame 12 via a second elastic support mechanism 18, an intermediate cushion material 14 placed between the base frame 12 and the upper-layer frame 13 with a part of the intermediate cushion material engaged with the base frame 12, and an upper-layer cushion material 15 for covering the upper-layer frame 13. In the structure above, the two elastic support mechanisms are arranged in series, and this produces a phase difference between motion of the base frame 12 induced by vibration inputted via a vehicle body floor and transmitted to the base frame 12 and motion of the upper-layer frame 13 induced by the vibration further transmitted to the upper-layer frame 13. As a result, in particular, low frequency vibration is effectively absorbed and damped.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat supporting structure capable of reducing resonance frequency in the width direction of a vehicle body without reducing the resonance frequency in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body with a simple constitution.
      SOLUTION: A connection member 16 is turnably supported by a supporting member 18 like an arrow 20R around a pin joint 20. An elastic member 24 supports a seat rail 14 with elasticity in the vertical direction of the vehicle body, and the connection member 16 is movable in a see-saw manner as shown by the arrow 20R around the pin joint 20 following the movement of the seat rail 14 in the vertical direction of the vehicle body caused by the elastic deformation of the elastic member 24. The connection member 16 is held by being fitted to a recess 18A formed in the supporting member 18 so that the movement is regulated in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body as the axial direction (the direction of the rotary shaft) of the pin joint 20.
