    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start generation of an alarm and deceleration control at appropriate timing, and to perform deceleration control moderately, without imposing a load on a driver. SOLUTION: On the basis of the shape of a curve ahead of own vehicle and present traveling conditions of own vehicle, a load imposed on the driver when the vehicle passes through the curve ahead is estimated, and a total load TWL as a load imposed throughout the entire curved section is estimated (steps S1 to S7). Furthermore, if the vehicle travels through a curve in a state in which the vehicle can travel ordinarily and stably, a load imposed on the driver is calculated as a load total reference value TWLs (step S8), and if a deviation ΔTWL between the load total TWL and the load total reference value TWLs is larger than an alarm operation judgment threshold TWLwr, an alarm is actuated (step S9). Furthermore, if the deviation ΔTWL is larger than a deceleration control start threshold TWLcnt, deceleration control is performed (steps S10 to S14) so that a target deceleration Xgs according to a difference between them is attained.
