    • PURPOSE: To obviate the necessity of a special space for stabilizer by installing in an axle beam, a stabilizer which generates a moment for resistance when right and left wheels moves up and down and a chassis rolls.
      CONSTITUTION: A stabilizer 13 constituted of a torque tube 25 and a torsion bar 26 inserted into the torque tube 25 is fitted into a hollow axle beam 1 onto which an axle 3 for rotatably supporting wheels 5 is fixed, at both edges. One edge 27 of the torque tube 25 is projected outside the beam 1 and fixed onto a torque tube plate 28 fixed 30 onto a hub carrier 29. The other edge 32 of the torque tube 25 is held in the beam 1 by a ring-shaped holding member 33 made of rubber. The inner edge of the torsion bar 26 is spline-connected 38 with the inner edge of the tube 25, and an arm 15 connected to a trailing arm 9 through a link 16 is spline-connected 37 onto the outer edge of the tube 25.

    • PURPOSE:To check the occurrence of damping force in a damper as well as to make people aboard much comfortable for driving, by disposing an axle beam in a more dislocation than the rotation axis of a car body in the longitudinal direction and also disposing a damper supporting the beam on the car body so as to cause its axis to traverse the vicinity of the said rotation axis. CONSTITUTION:Axles 3 and 4 supporting left and right wheels 1 and 2 rotatably are reciprocally secured and linked by an axle beam 5 but in this case, the axle beam 5 is disposed more downward and rearward than a rotation axis Q of both wheels 1 and 2. Both ends of this beam 5 are rotatably linked up with the car body by means of a symmetrical pair of trailing arms 6 and 7. In addition, inside a hollow part of the axle beam 5, a stabilizer 18 is housed, and its one end is secured tight to a left end part of the beam 5 while the other end is linked up with the trailing arm 7 via a link 19. And, each of dampers 11 and 12 are disposed between arms 13 and 14 installed projectingly in front of both end parts of the axle beam 5 so as to cause its axis to traverse the rotation of axis Q.
