The joint surface 23 of the first container part 2 and the joint surface 33 of the second container part 3 are welded outside the mesh member 4.

SOLUTION: The oil strainer is provided with an upper body 1 made of a synthetic resin having an outlet 3, a lower body 2 made of a synthetic resin having a mouth 4 of inflow and a filtering media 5 arranged between both bodies and in which welding flanges 6, 7 are integrally installed to each of the whole circumference edges of the upper body and the lower body, and the laser-welded in a state that the filtering media is interposed. A plurality of perforations 8 is formed at either one of welding flanges of both bodies and a plurality of engagement arms 9 having a hook part 9a is formed at the other, thereby superposing the welding flanges of both bodies without gap by the respective engagement of hooks of the engagement arms with the perforations in a temporary assembling state, even if the camber due to the molding shrinkage arises in the welding flanges of both bodies made of the synthetic resin.
