    • PURPOSE:To obtain a device which is capable of measuring a fluid of a high temperature, and is excellent in its earthquake resistance, by detecting a variation of capacity between an interval electrode part and an external electrode part, which is caused by fact that dynamic lift becomes displacement of the internal electrode part through a flexible part due to generation of a vortex in a fluid to be measured. CONSTITUTION:A supporting part having a thin plate-like flexible part 71 is fixed to a duct line 1, and the flexible part 71 is connected to the other end of a force receiving body 2. An internal electrode part 8 having a hollow part 81, whose one end is fixed to the other end of the force receiving body 2 through the flexible part 71 has necessary mass and rigidity. On the outside circumferential surface of the internal electrode part 8, electrodes 51, 52 are placed. A thin and cylindrical external electrode part 9 is placed concentrically on the outside circumference of the internal electrode part 8, its one end is supported by the supporting part 7. Dynamic lift due to generation of a vortex of a fluid to be measured becomes displacement of the internal electrode part 8 through the flexible part 71, and is detected as a variation of capacity between the internal electrode part 8 and the external electrode part 9. Also, since the detecting part constituted of the internal electrode part 8 and the external electrode part 9 is placed at the outside of the duct line, even if a temperature of a fluid to be measured is high, said detecting part is not influenced by the fact.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a measurer for the velocity and quality of a flow which is durable and tolerant to external vibration noises and has an excellent SN ratio, by detecting variation in electrostatic capacity between a Karman's vortex generator and electrode which are equal in the ratio of mass to flexural rigidity. CONSTITUTION:Karman's vortex generator 2 placed in conduit 1 has recess part 21, into which electrode part 5 having two electrodes 51 and 52 symmetrically on the right and left in the flow direction is inserted without contact with the internal wall to form a capacitor between the recess part internal wall and electrodes. As vortex generator 2 vibrates to the right and left in the flow direction owing to the dynamic lift of a karman's vortex of the fluid the electrostatic capacity varies differentially and in phase with a flow-directional vibration noise. Further, even if a noise is generated owing to conduit vibration when the velocity of the flow is zero, making the ratio of mass to flexural rigidity equal between vortex generator 2 and electrode part 5 equalizes the deflection extents of the both, and the electrostatic capacity never varies, so that no noise will be detected. Thus, an improved SN ratio, easy manufacture and durability are realized and the electrode part is inspected and replaced.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a robust and highly accurate speedometer which does not have any moving parts by providing ultrasonic transmitting-receiving parts at an equal spacing in the moving direction integrally with a moving object and receiving the random noise included in the reflected waves from the ground during running. CONSTITUTION:The receiving signals having been transmitted and received by ultrasonic transmitters-receivers 31 thru 38, 31' thru 38' as a moving object 1 moves in the arrow direction have been modulated by the random noise owing to the undulations of the ground 2. The receiving signals from the receivers 31' thru 38' are applied to modulators 41 thru 48 to become modulated signals which are then sent out to an adder-subtractor 50, by which the output signal f0' is obtained and this becomes the signal wherein the specific frequency component (N+1/2)v/d has been intensified. Here, v denotes the speed of the moving object and N the receiving part serial numbers and if their spacing d is suitably selected, the signal f00=v/2d of N=0 may be intensified, thus the speed v may be known by measuring the frequency f00. The object 1 is installed to the body of an automobile and its speed may be known from the signal f0, thus the speed to the ground may be obtained at high accuracy and the robust speedometer obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To measure the flow rate of fluid in high accuracy by providing difference between large and small energizing currents during ordinal value period and selecting the sampling interval for detecting both signal voltages at integer magnification of commerical power frequency. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic flow meter oscillator 4 consists of an exciting coil 5, a fluid flowing pipe 6 and electrodes 7, 7' and flows rectangular exciting current having two ordinal values at the coil 5 by a rectangular wave energizing circuit 1 to detect the difference between the signal voltage occurred at the larger ordinal exciting current and the signal voltage occurred at the smaller ordinal exciting current by a differential amplifier 12. It provides the difference between the period of the larger ordinal value of the exciting current and the period of the smaller ordinal value of the current and selects the interval from one sampling of the current to the other sampling thereof by a pulse generator 13 to the integer magnification of the period of commerical AC power supply so as to effectively remove the effects of the noise of the commerical power frequency and of electrochemical unbalance voltage.
