    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods of producing low gloss prints without need to change toner in an electrophotographic imaging apparatus or printer, and methods of producing fuser members that are durable and easily manufactured.SOLUTION: Methods of powder coating include applying a powder coating composition to a substrate via an electrostatic gun. The powder coating composition includes a mixture of two or more materials having different densities, such as a mixture of aerogel particles and fluoropolymer-containing particles. The electrostatic gun can have a high-voltage generator that generates a negative polarity voltage between about 0 KV and about 100 KV during the application of the powder coating composition, and the electrostatic gun can have a round spray nozzle. Methods of making fuser members using such powder coating methods, fuser members prepared by such methods, and methods of preparing low gloss images using such fuser members are also provided.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overprint composition that imparts overprint coating characteristics, such as thermal stability, photostability and resistance to contamination, and protects electrophotographic prints. SOLUTION: The overprint composition comprises a radiation curable oligomer selected from among a group, consisting of trifunctional unsaturated acrylic resins, a radiation curable monomer selected from among a group consisting of a multifunctional alkoxylated acrylic monomer or a polyalkoxylated acrylic monomer containing one or more kinds of a diacrylate or a triacrylate, at least one kind of a photopolymerized initiator, and at least one kind of surfactant. Preferably, the viscosity is approx. 50 Pa s to approx. 300 Pa s at approx. 25°C; the oligomer/monomer ratio is approx. 2.5 to approx. 1; and the surface tension is approx. 15 mN/m to approx. 40 mN/m at approx. 25°C.
