摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen storage material for an exhaust gas purification catalyst having more excellent stability under high temperatures.SOLUTION: There is provided a composite oxide material which contains crystalline particles having a pyrochlore structure of a ceria-zirconia composite oxide and crystals having a pyrochlore structure of a lanthana-zirconia composite oxide present on the particle surface, wherein at least a part of the crystals of the lanthana-zirconia composite oxide is solid-solved on the surface of the crystalline particles of the ceria-zirconia composite oxide. The pyrochlore structure of the ceria-zirconia composite oxide is stabilized in the composite oxide material and the composite oxide material is suppressed in deterioration in oxygen storage capacity associated with a phase change into a fluorite structure.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas cleaning catalyst which has high heat resistance and excellent oxygen storage performance, HC reforming performance and NOx cleaning performance, has high oxygen discharge property and durability further, and has a high pressure loss reducing effect as a catalyst.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas cleaning catalyst includes: a composite oxide support including alumina, zirconia, ceria, a first additive element oxide and a second additive element oxide comprising two kinds of elements selected from a group composed of rare earth elements excluding cerium or alkaline earth elements; and a precious metal catalyst supported on the composite oxide support. In the composite oxide support, alumina is contained in a range of 30 to 40 mass%, zirconia is contained in a range of 36 to 46 mass%. On at least a part of the respective surface layers of alumina, zirconia and ceria, a concentrated area where the content ratio of the second additive element oxide is high is formed.

SOLUTION: The particulate inorganic mixed oxide contains aluminum, zirconium, cerium, and the first and second additional elements which are selected from the group consisting of rare earth elements except cerium and the group consisting of alkaline earth elements, respectively, wherein the content of aluminum in the inorganic mixed oxide is 60-90 at.% in terms of element based on the total amount of elements which are converted into cations in the inorganic mixed oxide; the content of cerium in the inorganic mixed oxide is 0.4-50 at.% in terms of element based on the total amount of zirconium and cerium contained in the inorganic mixed oxide; the total content of the first and second additional elements is 1-12 at.% in terms of element based on the total amount of elements which are converted into cations in the inorganic mixed oxide; at least 80% of the primary particles of the inorganic mixed oxide have particle diameters of ≤100 nm; at least part of the primary particles have, on the surfaces, enriched areas wherein the content of the second additional element is locally enhanced; and the amount of the second additional element contained in the enriched areas is 0.1-0.95 mass% in terms of oxide based on the total amount of the inorganic mixed oxide.
