    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for joining fiber-reinforced resin materials, which can join fiber-reinforced resin materials to each other in a short time at a high joining strength, and to provide a joining structure of fiber-reinforced resin materials.SOLUTION: The joining method includes: a step of making at least parts of fiber-reinforced resin materials 1, 2 formed of a thermoplastic resin overlap with each other so that two matrix resins 1a, 2a form an overlapping part, and disposing a fiber-reinforced resin sheet 3 formed of a thermoplastic resin on an upper surface of the overlapping part so that a matrix resin 3a softens the matrix resin in the overlapping part; and a step of pressing a pressing pin P into the fiber-reinforced resin sheet 3 from an upper side so as to make part of the fiber-reinforced resin sheet 3 and part of the pressing pin P reach an intermediate position of the fiber-reinforced resin material 2 as the lowermost layer, and after removing the pressing pin P, then setting all the matrix resins to join the overlapping part of two fiber-reinforced resin materials 1, 2 together with the fiber-reinforced resin sheet 3 that has been pressed into and deformed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partially impregnated tow prepreg which surely secure a deairing pathway in forming, so that deairing is rapidly and easily achieved.
      SOLUTION: The partially impregnated tow prepreg 1 has a configuration structure in which an impregnated part 4 impregnated with a matrix resin and an unimpregnated part 3 not impregnated with the matrix resin are aligned in the width direction of the tow 2. When a fabric 5 is formed using the partially impregnated tow prepreg 1 and a plurality of such fabrics 5 are laminated to form a laminate 6, the unimpregnated parts 3 overlap each other and air ways which communicate with each other in the laminating direction can be formed. Accordingly, a deairing pathway is surely secured in the laminating direction of the laminate 6 and deairing is rapidly and easily achieved.
