    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge controller of a vehicle, which can prevent potential problems that could occur when there is electrical leakage in a vehicle wherein an electrical storage device for driving the vehicle is so configured as to be charged from a power supply outside the vehicle. SOLUTION: A charge controller is equipped with a charger 260, a charging inlet 180, a charging lid 190 that covers the charging inlet 180, an electrical leakage detection unit 240 that detects a possibility of electrical leakage in the charging inlet 180 and/or the charger 260; and an ECU 170 for controlling the charging lid 190 and the charger 260 based on the detection results of the electrical leakage detection unit 240. When the electrical leakage detection unit 240 detects a possibility of electrical leakage when an electrical storage device 150 is not being charged, the ECU 170 fixes the charging lid 190 in a closed state. Meanwhile, when the electrical leakage detection unit 240 detects a possibility of electrical leakage when the electrical storage device 150 is being charged, the ECU 170 stops the charger 260.
