    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To share a reinforcing member between different types of vehicles by adjusting bending stress generated in the reinforcing member of a vehicle roof in a side collision by setting the shapes of load transmission members provided between the reinforcing member and roof side rails.
      SOLUTION: This roof structure includes the roof side rails 10, a center frame 12 (reinforcing member) provided in the vehicle roof 26, extended in the vehicle width direction between the roof side rails 10 on both sides and provided with load receiving parts 12A at both end parts, and the load transmission members 14 connected to connect the roof side rails 10 and the center frame 12 and provided with load transmission ends 42 adjacent and opposite to the load receiving parts 12A in the vehicle width direction in vehicle lower sides of connecting parts 40 with the center frame 12. The bending stress generated in the center frame 12 in the side collision can be adjusted by height setting of the load transmission ends 42 by making each of the connecting parts 40 in the load transmission members 14 as a reference.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood hinge structure for a vehicle by which both of fitting rigidity etc. and pedestrian protective performance can be achieved by a simple structure.SOLUTION: A hood hinge structure 10 for a vehicle includes a hinge base 18, a hinge arm 16 and a fragile part 164V. The hinge base 18 is fixed to a vehicle body on a rear side of a hood 12 of the vehicle body. An end of the hinge arm 16 is rotatably supported by the hinge base 18, and the other end is fixed to a rear side of the hood 12 by fixing parts at a plurality of positions arranged in a front-back direction of the vehicle. The fragile part 164V is arranged at least one of the positions between the fixing parts at a plurality of positions of the hinge arm 16, and an adjacent part thereof in a width direction of the vehicle. The fragile part 164V of the hinge arm 16 is less rigid than the other parts with respect to a crash induced load F1 from an upper side of the vehicle body.
