    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical waste gasifying melting furnace having construction for solving problems on avoiding a bridging phenomenon, reducing the amount of exhaust gas tar, and reducing an ash flying amount leading to secondary wastes.
      SOLUTION: In the waste gasifying melting furnace 10, a gas flow path of a free board F has the narrowest portion whose area is larger than the cross section of a furnace body 13 which the upper face of a waste layer 19 faces and a waste charge port 12a is provided where the area of the gas flow path of the free board F is minimized. Besides, a tuyere 21 is provided between the waste charge port 12a into the furnace and a gas exhaust port 14 for blowing partial combustion gas. The gas is blown from the tuyere 21 into the furnace at a peripheral angle.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a combustion controlling method capable of ensuring a vibration power generally exhibiting primary characteristics for an air ratio by keeping unchanged an influence of an emission intensity component of a flame or a corresponding component on a vibration component. CONSTITUTION:The state of a flame F from a burner 5 of a boiler 1 is changed by adjusting valve travels of a fuel regulating valve 16 and an air regulating valve 19 and increasing/decreasing a fuel flow rate and an air flow rate supplied to the burner 5. The state of flame light is converted to an electric signal using an optical sensor 28, and the electric signal is frequency-analyzed and thereafter a vibration power being a strength integrated value over the entire frequency range is estimated. The valve travel of the air regulating valve 19 is adjusted such that the vibration power is coincident with an optimum vibration power responsive to a fuel flow rate at that time. In combustion control, an emission intensity component and a vibration component are extracted from the electric signal, and thereafter the vibration component or the vibration power is divided by the emission intensity component to correct the vibration power.

    • PURPOSE:To supply a proper amount of air to a burner by enabling a fine adjustment of an air supplying amount to be attained, eliminate a lack of supplying air, and further reduce the number of steps of adjustment in an air supplying system. CONSTITUTION:A combustion control device is comprised of an air damper 9, a power force transmitting rod 31, a control motor 12, a pressure gauge 38, a sensor amplifier 44, and a motor cylinder 32 and the like. A first controller 46 controls driving of the control motor 12 in such a manner that a vapor pressure measured by the pressure gauge 38 becomes a target vapor pressure. Operation of the control motor 12 is transmitted to a fuel adjusting valve 8 and an air damper 9 through a power force transmitting rod 31 and both of them are adjusted to a desired degree of opening. A second controller 47 calculates a combustion state in reference to a flame light state caused by a sensor amplifier 44 and further controls driving of the motor cylinder 32 in such a manner that its combustion state becomes the most suitable combustion state. Thus, the motor cylinder 32 extends or retracts to adjust the length of the power force transmitting rod 31 and further a characteristic of degree of opening of an air damper 9 is adjusted.
