The rotor 1 comprises: a rotor core 10 having a through-hole 11 and a through-hole 12 formed that penetrate through the axial direction of the rotor 1; a permanent magnet 20 inserted into the through-hole 11; an end plate 30 arranged at a first end face in the axial direction of the rotor core 10; and a rivet 50, inserted to the through-hole 12 from a second end face opposite to the first end face of the rotor core 10, for fastening the rotor core 10 to the end plate 30. The through-hole 12 is formed at a position where a head 51 of the rivet 50 inserted into the through-hole 12 covers at least partly the through-hole 11 with the second end face. The permanent magnet 20 is fixed in the through-hole 11 by the end plate 30 arranged at the first end face and the head of the rivet 50 contacted with the second end face.
