    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new coated cemented carbide member which is obtained by covering the surface of a cemented carbide with an amorphous carbon film, and has adhesion improved by forming the surface of the base material into a specified rugged face.
SOLUTION: The coated cemented carbide member includes: the base material 10 made of a cemented carbide composed of a hard phase 12 containing tungsten carbide and a binder phase 11 containing iron group metal; and the amorphous carbon film 2 covered on the surface of the base material 10. The surface of the base material 10 covered with the amorphous carbon film 2 is a rugged face 10f having a recessed part 12
      - from which the hard phase 12 is lost, and when the average particle diameter of WC is defined as X[μm], the maximum depth of the recessed part as Y[μm] and the area ratio of the binder phase in the rugged face as Z[%], by controlling the values of X, Y and Z to prescribed ranges, an anchor effect improves the adhesion between the surface of the base material 10 and the amorphous carbon film 2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work condition observing and testing machine enabling in-situ observation of a work condition in the vicinity of a working surface in plastic working.SOLUTION: The work condition observing and testing machine (1) includes a working tool (15) having a transparent body allowing sight through of the working surface (P) which is a surface to be worked on a test piece (W) assumed to be a workpiece, and capable of applying a working force to the working surface via the transparent body, and moreover, the work condition observing and testing machine (1) allows observation of the condition in the vicinity of the working surface that occurs in a working process using the working tool. The transparent body includes a see-through polymer film (152), which is closely contacted with an observation surface (S) on the opposite side relative to an opposed surface (C) opposed to the working surface with respect to a working force acting direction. By employing this polymer film, a crack or the like becoming a destruction starting point, that exists on the observation surface side of the transparent body, can be repaired. As a result, bending destruction of the transparent body can be prevented even when a large working force acts on the transparent body, and the in-situ observation of the plastic working or the like is enabled via the transparent body.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating film-forming agent (aqueous lubricating agent for plastic processing) capable of forming a uniform lubricating film that exhibits more excellent wettability than conventional ones and hardly suffers from deterioration in wettability even when contaminated with an oily component, and to provide a formation method of a lubricating film where a lubricating film-forming agent deteriorated by contamination with an oily component is reutilized.
SOLUTION: The aqueous lubricating agent for plastic processing comprises a solid lubricating agent, water for dispersing the solid lubricating agent and a cationic surfactant for charging the surface of the solid lubricating agent with positive electricity. The formation method of the lubricating film is one for forming a lubricating film on the surface of a raw material for plastic processing or the surface of a tool for plastic processing, where a cationic surfactant is added to the deteriorated liquid of the lubricating film-forming agent having been subjected to the formation of the lubricating film and contaminated with an oily component thereby to charge the surface of the solid lubricating agent with positive electricity and the thus-obtained liquid is reutilized as the lubricating film-forming agent.
