    • PURPOSE:To improve both the withstanding characteristics to the dynamic ozone and the heat resisting characteristics and optimize the air-permeable inhibition characteristics of the rubber layer at the inner side of a diaphragm by using chlorosulfonated polyethylene composite for both the rubber layers at the inner-pressure side and the atmospheric pressure side of the diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:One end of a diaphragm 3 is stuck to the external face 2 of the shock absorber 1 of the suspension of a vehicle and the other end part is folded reversely and stuck to the open end part of a cylindrical body which is joined to the piston rod 4 of a shock absorber 1 to define an air chamber, thus forming the desired shock absorber assembly. Hydrotarsyte as acid receival agent and chlorosulfonated polyethylene composite containing bismuleimid are used for each of the rubber layer 6 and the rubber layers 7 of the reversely folded diaphragm 3 which are exposed to the inner pressure and the atmospheric pressure in actual operation, with a pair of rubber cord fabric layers 5 centered therebetween in the diaphragm 5.
