    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly heat-resistant polyester molded article that retains a shape at a high temperature, especially at the melting point of the polyester or above in excellent productivity without reducing heat-resistant performance.
      SOLUTION: The method for producing the polyester molded article includes adding a compound containing at least one or more epoxy groups and at least one or more aliphatic unsaturated groups to a polyester having an acid value of 10-20 eq/ton and an intrinsic viscosity of 0.4-0.9 dL/g, performing melt extrusion molding and then irradiating the molded article with ionizing radiation.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply producing a fiber in which a display device is enclosed by only conjugate spinning and simple process while improving stability of conjugate spinning.
      SOLUTION: In the method for producing a display device- enclosing fiber in which a display device is independently rotatable, a thermoplastic resin having ≤4% breaking elongation is used as a display device-forming resin and a thermoplastic resin having ≥10% breaking elongation is used as a fiber-forming resin, and a conjugate spinning nozzle arranging the display device-forming resin, an internal fluid positioned on the outer periphery of the display device-forming resin and the fiber-forming resin positioned on the further outer periphery of the internal fluid is used and a precursor of the display device-enclosing fiber in which the fiber-forming resin forms the sheath part and a display device-forming resin filament covered with the internal fluid forms the core part is obtained by extruding the display device-forming resin, the internal fluid and the fiber-forming resin from the nozzle and then, the display device-forming resin filament is cut into a desired length by bending the precursor to form the display device.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide functional fibers which have improved spinning stability, display element stability, and fiber stability and is available for an information display device and for clothing, wallpaper, curtains, etc. having display function and an ornamental function.

(4)Display elements (C) are made of one of rotating particles having responsivity to applied voltage and having at least two colors, inorganic particles, organic particles, and a cholesteric liquid crystal.
