    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for shutting off a main electric power source accompanied with finishing various operating works of an injection molding machine. SOLUTION: After the various operating works of the injection molding machine are finished, a monitoring program is started (ST1) in response to shutting off (ST0) of the main electric power source. At first, it is confirmed (ST2) whether the tip part of an injection screw is at an advancing limit position or within a predetermined range. When it is YES, shutting off of the main electric power source is kept. When it is NO, an alarm or the like is displayed (ST3), and it is indicated that the main electric power source is turned on (ST4). After the main electric power source is turned on, whether a heating cylinder is within a temperature proportional band is confirmed (ST7). When it does not exist within the temperature proportional band, temperature elevation of a heater unit is controlled (ST9). When it is confirmed that it exists within the temperature proportional band, the injection screw is moved to the advancing limit position at a low speed and under a low pressure (ST8).     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling the cooling of a molding material supply device of an injection molding machine capable of suppressing the detereioration of a molding material to the utmost.
      SOLUTION: The heat of a heat generating part is absorbed by a water jacket WJ for surpressing the generation of heat before heat is generated by the heat transfer and shearing force from a lower barrel. The molding material MT generates heat by the push-in force between the inner peripheral surface of a hopper and a piston during a period when the piston PS in a hopper HP is pressed and pushed downward and the molding material MT generates heat by the push-in force between the inner peripheral surface of the hopper and the piston, the heat transfer from a lower barrel and shearing force and the heat of a heat generating part is absorbed by a water jacket WJ for suppressing the heat generated before the molding material is overheated and deteriorated. In this case, the water jacket WJ is demarcated into a plurality of zones Z1-Z4 and the inlet IN and return port OUT of a cooling medium are arranged to the respective zones and further temperature detectors DT1-DT4 are arranged to the piston and the respective zones. The supply amounts of the cooling medium to the respective zones are controlled during the downward movement of the piston in relation to the difference between the preset temperature and detected temperature of each of the zones. Accordingly, the overheating and deterioration of the molding material are suppressed to prevent the supply of the deteriorated molding material into the barrel.

      SOLUTION: An upper die plate 3 and a lower die plate 4 are arranged so as to be opposed to each other in an up and down direction and couple to each other through a tie bar 7. A lower mold 2 is attached to the upper surface of the lower die plate 4 and an upper mold 1 is attached to the under surface of the upper die plate 3 through a revolvable base 5. The revolvable base 5 is connected to the upper die plate 3 through the hinge 6 attached to the vicinity of the end part of the upper die plate 3. When the maintenance of the upper mold 1 is performed, the revolvable base 5 is revolved by 90° centering around the hinge 6 in such a state that the upper die plate 3 is let retreat to an upper limit position and the upper mold 1 is drawn out to the front of the mold clamping device.
