      SOLUTION: A disk recording medium and mechanical part are provided in a housing 10 of the disk device. The housing includes a first shell 11 and a second shell 12. The first shell and the second shell include main walls 11a, 12a and sidewalls 11b, 12b erected along the periphery of the main walls, respectively, and are disposed opposite each other with the end edges of the sidewalls in contact with each other. The housing includes a plurality of fastening parts 18 for fastening the first shell and the second shell. Each fastening part includes a first recessed part 20a formed by deforming a part of the main wall of the first shell to the inside of the housing, a second recessed part 22a formed by deforming a part of the main wall of the second shell to the inside of the housing and abutting against the first recessed part, and a screw 24 fastening the bottom of the first recessed part and the bottom of the second recessed part each other.
