PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head gimbal assembly and a disk device capable of suppressing a shaking of a flexure caused by a wind disturbance, and capable of improving positioning accuracy of a head.SOLUTION: The head gimbal assembly comprises: a load beam 35; a baseplate 42 fixed to a base end part of the load beam; a head 17 supported to the load beam through gimbals; a belt-like flexure 40 having a tip side part 40a which has a plurality of wirings electrically connected to the head and which is mounted on the load beam and the baseplate, and an extension part 40b which extends from a side edge of the load beam and the baseplate to the outside; a recess 33 which is formed to the load beam in an area where the baseplate, the load beam and the flexure overlap, and which regulates a pocket opening to the side edge of the load beam between the baseplate and the flexure; and an adhesive 62 which is charged on the extension part of the pocket and the flexure, and which causes the flexure and the baseplate to adhere to each other.
