SOLUTION: A base isolation support device 1 comprises alternately laminating a viscoelastic body 5 and a reinforcing plate 6, a reinforcement mounting plate 7 having its hole for fitting dowel pin 4 is provided at both end parts of that laminating direction, and each of component members 5 to 7 is laminated and integrated by curing and adhering them. A hollow part 8 piercing through in the laminating direction is formed at the center part of the device 1, and a lead body 10 having a viscoelastic layer 9 around its body is densely sealed in this hollow part 8. Thereby, when great horizontal displacement acts on the base isolation support device 1, for example, by a large-scale earthquake, shear deformation is generated in the reinforcing plate 6 and the viscoelastic body 5, and earthquake energy is speedily absorbed by subsequent plastic deformation of the lead body 10.

The cylindrical parts of the fitting members protruded from the pierced holes 14, 19 of the upper and lower fitting plates are fitted into the fitting holes 25, 27 of the structural member side fitting member 26 and the foundation side fitting member 24 to arrange the laminated rubber support body 1 between both fitting members. Transmission of vibration such as earthquake of the structure 13 is reduced by the shearing deformation and vibration energy is attenuated. Thus, the base isolation can be operated for the vibration such as the earthquake.

A horizontal deformation is applied to the lead body 4 of the plastic deformation section 1 having small lateral rigidity, and the earthquake energy is absorbed. The displacement acceleration of the upper structure G is damped, and the relative displacement is suppressed for damping action. A large energy absorbing capability is obtained, the lead body 4 can be miniaturized, the expected energy absorption characteristic is exerted according to the design specification, and the standardization of designing can be attained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce a structure vibration due to an earthquake or the like by arranging a plurality of air spring devices made of movable steel tubes sealing the high pressure air on a structure and the foundation thereof in a horizontal direction, and stacking a plurality of the devices in a vertical direction. CONSTITUTION:The horizontal vibration component of a structure foundation due to an earthquake or the like is prevented from being transmitted to a structure by the help of the shearing deformation of a laminated rubber body 4 having restitutive force. On the other hand, the vertical vibration component of the foundation is prevented from being transmitted to the structure, using stacked air spring devices 5 made of movable metal tubes 6. Furthermore, each tube 6 is internally connected to an auxiliary tank via a valve 42 having orifice function, and the vertical vibration component is attenuated with the travel resistance of the air flowing through the valve 42. In this case, if the internal pressure of the tube 6 drops below a preset value, due to an air leakage or the like, a compressor is operated to maintain the pressure at the value.
