      SOLUTION: This gear type multi-stage transmission 100 is provided with an input shaft 11 to which an output shaft of an engine 50 is connected; a first intermediate shaft 13 connected or disconnected to/from the input shaft 11 through a first clutch 21; a second intermediate shaft 12 arranged in parallel with the input shaft 11; an output shaft 14 connected and disconnected to/from the second intermediate shaft 12 through a second clutch 22; at least a pair of a second speed drive gear 2 and a second speed driven gear 102 fixed on one of the input shaft 11 and the second intermediate shaft 12 and rotatably supported by the other one, and meshed with each other; and at least a pair of a first speed drive gear 1 and a first speed driven gear 101 fixed on one of the first intermediate shaft 13 and the output shaft 14 and rotatably supported by the other one, and meshed with each other.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchromesh apparatus which can shorten its size in the axial direction, and can reduce its manufacturing cost.
      SOLUTION: The synchromesh apparatus comprises a synchronizer ring 14 which is arranged between a spline piece 32 to be integrally turned with a rotary shaft 22 and a hub sleeve 36, and makes the hub sleeve 36 synchronize with the spline piece 32 by being frictionally engaged with the spline piece 32 by sliding the hub sleeve 36. A clutch hub 12 and the synchronizer ring 14 can relatively turn by a required amount. The synchromesh apparatus further comprises circular rings 18, 20 which are fixed to the clutch hub 12 at one end, and is loosely fitted to the synchronizer ring 14 at the other end, and plate-shaped members 44 which are fixed to the circular rings 18, 20, and are loosely fitted to the synchronizer ring 14, and have tapered surfaces which are brought into contact with the end portion of the spline of the hub sleeve 36.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle transmission to control an automatic clutch so that the temperature of lubrication oil in the transmission is rapidly increased. SOLUTION: In the case that viscosity of lubrication oil in the transmission 16 is high when a shift lever 170 is operated to a non-running position, since the automatic clutch 14 is controlled to the engagement side, rotation of an engine 12 is transmitted to an input shaft 42 of the transmission 16 and lubrication oil in the transmission 16 is agitated. Thereby, when a vehicle is run especially in cold environment, lubrication oil in the transmission 16 is comparatively rapidly increased in temperature. Thus, since a period in which viscosity of lubrication oil in the transmission 16 is high is shortened, a period in which the occurring period of comparatively high dragging resistance (torque) and a period in which a speed change feeling is lowered are shortened, and a shift load is relieved and durability of a synchronizing device is improved.
