    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make passing exhausts in paths difficult to be interfered with each other when two exhaust pipes in which multiple exhaust paths are provided are connected. SOLUTION: The connecting structure of an exhaust pipe is such that an upstream side flow dividing pipe 10 is connected to a downstream side flow dividing pipe 20. The former is provided with an upstream side partition 12 which divides the inside of a single pipe 11 into two flow paths S11 and S12, and the latter is provided with a downstream side partition 22 which divides the inside of a single pipe 21 into two flow paths S21 and S22. Also, because a bent piece 12a and a plate piece 15 cover the upstream side end parts of the downstream side partition 22, the bent piece 12a prevents the exhaust flowing through the path S11 from flowing into the flow path S22, and the plate piece 15 prevents the exhaust flowing through the path S12 from flowing into the flow path S21. Thus the exhaust passing the flow paths are difficult to be interfered with each other.

    • PURPOSE: To secure a vibro-isolating pipe that is able to reduce a pitch of impact noise as well as to damp a pipe axial vibration so quickly. CONSTITUTION: This vibro-isolating pipe consists of a bellows, an interlock and the like. The interlock 3 is inserted into the bellows, wrapping itself on strip bodies 30a and 30b, and formed into a pipe form. Two hooks 32a and 32b of these adjacent strip bodies 30a and 30b constituting this interlock 3 are engaged with each other in a state of being conformed to each other, and they are slidable in the pipe axial direction. If being compressed in this pipe axial direction, the hook 32a of the strip body 30a on one side collides with an impact receiving part 31b of the strip body 33b on the other as sliding with the hook part 33b of the strip body 30b on the other. Since any vibration in the pipe axial direction is quickly damped by this sliding motion, the frequency of collisions is reduced and simultaneously the impact noise becomes lessened. As the impact receiving part 31b is at an angle θ(40 to 50 deg.) to the pipe axial direction, the impact noise becomes yet smaller.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow path dividing pipe suited for performing expanding or contracting of a pipe and a working method for the flow path dividing pipe. SOLUTION: A flow path dividing pipe 20 is a pipe divided inside a cylindrical pipe 21 into two flow paths S21, S22 by a partitioning plate 22. A notched groove 24 is provided in an end part in a left side of the partitioning plate 22. When an end part in a left side of the flow path dividing pipe 20 thus formed is expanded, a width of a slit grove part 24b in the notched groove 24 is spread, the partitioning plate 22 is expanded in a direction substantially orthogonal relating to an axial direction. Consequently, separation of bending parts 23, 23 of the partitioning plate 22 from a welding part of the cylindrical pipe 21 is eliminated. When the pipe is contracted, a width of the slit groove part 24b in the notched groove 24 is narrowed, the partitioning plate 22 is contracted in a direction substantially orthogonal relating to the axial direction. Consequently, buckling of the partitioning plate 22 is eliminated.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the thickness of a band plate to decrease the weight and lower cost by pulling the band plate in the direction of securing a protector at the other end side of a sealing material, and securing a protector to an exhaust pipe by the band plate. CONSTITUTION:After one end part 1a of a band plate 1 is inserted into a sealing material 2, the band plate is wrapped around the outside peripheral surface of a protector 4. When the band plate 1 is strongly pulled at the other end 2b side of the sealing material 2, an engaging part 5 is engaged with one end 2a side of the sealing material 2, and the band plate 1 firmly secures the protector to the exhaust pipe 3. When the sealing material 2 caulked in this state, the band plate 1 is fixed to the sealing material 2. Thereafter, the outside part of the band plate 1 is cut off at the other end 2b side of the sealing material 2. As a result, the protector 4 is completely secured to the exhaust pipe 3. Thus, the band plate has good operating performance even in a narrow space, and it is lightweight and low in cost.
