    • PURPOSE: To make reduction of noise and securing of exhaust gas recirculation quantity compatible without applying an exclusive throttle valve for exhaust gas recirculation or applying complicated controls. CONSTITUTION: A suction passage 27 and an exhaust passage 28 are connected to a main combustion chamber 18 of a Diesel engine 11. Both passages 27, 28 are communicated with each other by an exhaust gas recirculation passage 32 and some of the exhaust gas inside the exhaust gas passage 28 is refluxed to the suction passage 27. A part of the suction passage 27 on the upper stream of an exhaust gas injection port 31 of the recirculation passage 32 is partitioned to a main channel 43 and an auxiliary channel 44 by a partition wall 42. A main suction throttle valve 45, which is rotatably supported by the main channel 43, closes the main channel 43 when an accelerator pedal 41 is not stepped on and, when it is stepped on, it opens the main channel 43 by the part on the lower stream than the shaft turning in an aparting direction from a lower stream end 42a of the partition wall 42. An auxiliary suction throttle valve 48, which opens and closes in accordance with the operating condition of the Diesel engine 11, is provided on the auxiliary channel 44.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain a discharge structure for oil gathered in an intake passage which can discharge the oil accumulated inside an intercooler without fail and prevents occurrence of abnormal combustion. CONSTITUTION: An intercooler 4 is arranged on a downstream side of a supercharger on the way of an intake passage 3. A blowby gas pipe 6 is arranged on an upstream side of the intercooler 4. An intake throttle valve 7 is arranged on the downstream side of the intercooler 4, which is fully closed when an engine is stopped. A discharge outlet 8 and a discharge port 9 are formed on the nearest portion of the intercooler 4. A communication port 11 is formed in the vicinity of an intake throttle valve 7 of the intake passage 3. A hose 12 having a changeover valve 13 is installed so as to connect the discharge port 9 to the communication port 11. The oil is flowed from the blowby gas pipe 6 into the intercooler 4 by a small amount. During operation of the engine, negative pressure is generated on an immediately downstream side of the intake throttle valve 7, so that the oil is suctioned by the negative pressure and gradually discharged into the intake passage 3 through the hose 12.
