    • PURPOSE:To obtain a drive control apparatus, for an electric car, which prevents the aggravation of a drive feeling which is generated by a cogging torque or the like when the electric car is running at a very low speed. CONSTITUTION:Immediately after a vehicle has started or when the vehicle is running at a very low speed (106), the speed of a motor, for running, which is constituted as a permenant-magnet synchronous motor is feedback-controlled (102, 110). When the load of the drive motor is stable to a certain extent, the aggravation of a drive feeling due to a torque change can be prevented when the speed is feedback-controlled because a cogging torque or the like appears as a speed change. When the vehicle is not running at the very low speed (106) or when a braking operation is required (104), a torque open-loop control operation is performed (116, 120) so as to satisfy an accelerating and braking feeling or the like. When a control operation is changed over (114, 122), a torque instruction value is changed gently.

    • PURPOSE:To control a vector in good response without influence of the variation of the secondary resistance value used as a circuit constant due to a temperature rise by detecting a motor torque. CONSTITUTION:A torque of an induction motor 20 is detected by a torque detector 30, and the secondary resistance R2 of an induction motor is obtained in a coordinates compensation calculator 40 and the secondary resistance compensation calculator 50 on the basis of a torque tau by detecting the torque of the motor 20 by a torque detector 30. The secondary resistor R2 is used as one of circuit constants used in case of calculating an angular frequency command value omega0*. As a result, the resistance R2 is reflected in the primary current I1* of the motor 20 controlled in a current control type frequency converter 18, and the torque of the motor 20 is controlled in good response for the torque command value tau*.

    • PURPOSE:To accurately detect a magnetic flux without using a magnetic flux sensor by calculating the flux from the primary current of an induction motor and using for the feedback control of the magnetic flux. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic flux phi0 is obtained in a 3-phase/2-phase converter 40, a coordinates converter 50 and a magnetic flux calculator 60 on the basis of the primary currents iu, iv of an induction motor 20 detected by current detectors 31, 32. The flux phi0 is obtained as the difference from a magnetic flux command phi0* in a subtractor 17, and a magnetic flux controller 15 controls a magnetic flux current command value I1d* to equalize the flux phi0 to the value phi0*. A torque current command value I1q* and an angular frequency command value omega0* are decided by a torque command value tau*, and the primary current of the motor 20 is controlled in a current control frequency converter 18 on the basis of the command values I1a* and I1d*.
