摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent a hoop end face forming an endless carrier from being damaged, by rounding the outer peripheral ends of belt engaging surfaces of a V-like cross-sectioned shape circumferential groove formed in a V-shape pulleys. CONSTITUTION:A V-shape pulley assembly 10 consisting of a stationary pulley 11 and a movable pulley 12 is formed therein with belt engaging surfaces 11a, 12a each having an outer peripheral end 11b, 12b which is an arcuate shape or a smooth circular curved line shape. Accordingly, even if the outer peripheral ends 11b, 12b interfere with an endless carrier in a V-belt 20, the interference offers a smooth contact condition, thereby it is possible to prevent a hoop end face forming the endless carrier 22 from being damaged.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent air-fuel mixture from becoming excessively rich at the time of the deceleration with a miniature control system, which is constructed by providing a control valve near an intake valve and providing a balbnce path on the downstream side of the control valve and communicating the intake path to each cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder head 4 is provided with a path 31 extending in the direction of the cylinder arrangement and a balbance path 33 having a nozzle 32 for communicating the path 31 with an intake port 7 of each cylinder. The path 31 of the balance path 33 is connected to a port 38 of a mixture control valve 35 through a duct 34. At the time of the deceleration, a second throttle valve 24 is instantly fully closed, whereby negative pressure is transmitted to a first diaphragm chamber 42 to open a valve 39. As a result, the balance path 33 is connected to an air cleaner 8, so that air is caused to jet from the nozzle 32 and withdrawn together with fuel attached to the wall into a combustion chamber 5, thus preventing air-fuel mixture from becoming excessively rich.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance the combustion of air fuel mixture gas within a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine by providing second throttle valve and a sub air intake passage having a tangential outlet opening at the air intake passage at the downstream side of a throttle valve and introducing the mixture gas tangentially into the combustion chamber at low speed time. CONSTITUTION:There are arranged a throttle valve 12 and second throttle valve 14 at an air intake passage 5 and a sub air intake passage 15 for communicating with the upstream and downstream of the valve 14 thereat. The outlet opening 17 of the passage 15 is disposed tangentially within the passage 5 in the vicinity of an air intake valve 6 to thereby introduce the mixture gas injected from the opening 17 as vortex flow into a combustion chamber 4. Further, a vacuum diaphragm unit 21 driven by the vacuum to be introduced from a vacuum tube 27 is connected to the valve 14, which is directed to closing operation at low speed time of the engine to thus supply the mixture gas through the passage 15 tangentially into the chamber 4.

The injection valves 34 of the two groups are operated in prescribed ignition order by an electronic controllr 26 and an injection valve drive circuit 62.

摘要： PURPOSE:To sufficiently heighten the velocity of combustion in the operation of an engine under low and medium load, by providing shutoff valves in an accessory intake passage branched from the upstream side of the throttle valve of a carburetor, so that the shutoff valves act in response to the negative pressure in a main intake passage. CONSTITUTION:A second throttle valve 14 is provided in each main intake passage 10 downstream to the throttle valve 12 of a carburetor. An accessory intake passage 37 is branched from the upstream side of the throttle valve 12 and connected to a common communication passage 34. Shutoff valves 38, 39, which act in response to the negative pressure between the throttle valves 12, 14, are provided. In the operation of an engine under low load, a mixture is ejected from the common communication passage 34 due to the pressure difference between intake ports 5 so that intense turbulence is caused in a combustion chamber 4. In the operation of the engine under medium load, the shutoff valve 39 is fully opened to eject a mixture from the accessory intake passage 37 toward the intake port 5 to cause intense turbulence in the combustion chamber 4. According to this constitution, the velocity of combustion is heightened.
