    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission including a non-circular gear pair that can suppress torque applied to a transmission body.SOLUTION: The transmission body 10 has a plurality of gear pairs and non-circular gear pairs selectively coupled via a clutch between an input member and an output member. The non-circular gear pair has a constant speed engagement part in which speed reduction ratios are equal when the gear pairs are linked respectively between the input member and the output member, and a variable speed engagement part in which the speed reduction ratio increases/decreases between adjacent constant speed engagement parts. A limited torque transmission device 52 is connected to the input member or the output member of the transmission body 10, which outputs torque of the same size as that of input torque when the size of the input torque is at a first value or less and outputs torque of a size of the first value when the size of the input torque exceeds the first value.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent gear noise by securing a sufficient operation time and a sufficient operation quantity for operating a synchronous device for an forward stage when selecting reverse shift operation.
      SOLUTION: In the reverse shift operation, a first head 61 integrally rotatable with a shift select shaft 20 rotates a second head 62 supported by a fork shaft 52 for a third speed-a fourth speed in accordance with select operation of a shift lever, and rotational force of this second head 62 is transmitted to a third head 63 integrally formed with a fork shaft 53 for a fifth speed-a sixth speed, and the fork shaft 53 for the fifth speed-the sixth speed moves in the direction along the axis. Thus, a synchromesh mechanism operates, and rotation of an input shaft reduces. Then, the first head 61 retreats from the second head 62 in accordance with shift operation of the shift lever, and operation of the synchromesh mechanism is released.
