摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the starting performance of Diesel engine by providing an auxiliary pump for feeding high pressure fuel. CONSTITUTION:Upon turning ON of a key switch, a low pressure feed pump 4 and an air pump 6 will start function. The fuel fed from said pump 4 will go to the pump chamber 207 of a high pressure feed pump 2 and to a reservoir 802. A control valve 7 is changed over through a timer to feed high pressure air from an air pump 6 into the diaphragm chamber 512. A plunger 502 is pushed down through this air pressure to pressurize the fuel in the pump chamber 508. When performing cranking through a starter, it can be started immediately.

摘要： PURPOSE:To detect torque fluctuation in a simple way and at the low cost by detecting the time required for one revolution and the absolute pressure in the suction pipe of the internal combustion engine, and operating this output. CONSTITUTION:A pulse disc is fixed to the crankshaft of an internal combustion engine 1. The projection 6 of the pulse disc 4 is detected by an electromagnetic pickup 7 and the time Ti required for one revolution of the engine 1 is measured, and the result of this measurement is input to a computer 13. On the other hand, an absolute pressure sensor 14 is mounted on a suction manifold connected with a through hole with the cylinder head of the main body of the engine 1, and the absolute pressure Pabs measured by the absolute pressure sensor 14 is input to the computer 13 through an A/D convertor 15. The computer 13 executes operation based on these inputs and finds out the change in the torque of the internal combustion engine 1 and displays it on a display unit 16.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce fuel consumption, by providing a throttle valve in each intake passage downstream to the throttle valve of a carburetor and by providing a common communication passage for connecting the intake passage to each other, to cause an intense swirl in each combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:A second throttle valve 14 is provided in each intake passage downstream to the throttle valve 12 of a carburetor. The intake passages downstream to the second throttle valves 14 are connected to each other through a common communication passage 34. The pressure difference between the upstream and downstream sides of the second throttle valve 14 is kept constant by a throttle valve driver 17 and a negative pressure control valve 23. In low-load operation, the mixture in the common communication passage 34 flows at a high speed into each combustion chamber 4 through a branch passage 35 so that an intense swirl W is caused. This results in reducing fuel consumption and suppressing combustion fluctuation.

The second throttle valve is interlocked to the throttle valve, and at the time of the low-speed low-load engine operating condition it is closed so that air-fuel mixture is injected from the auxiliary intake passage 27 into a combustion chamber 4.

摘要： PURPOSE:To produce a turbulent flow in a combustion chamber and thus perform a steady burning, by locating sub-suction passages having a No.2 throttle valve and a rotary valve at the downstream of an internal combustion engine and by feeding air-fuel mixture through the sub-suction passage in the case of a low engine speed. CONSTITUTION:A throttle valve 12 and a No.2 throttle valve 17 are mounted at a suction passage 5, and sub-suction passages 27 and 29, which connect together the upstream and downstream of the No.2 throttle valve 17, are located. A rotary valve 19, which works in conjunction with the No.2 throttle valve 17 but whose opening and closing action is contrary to the action of the valve 17, is placed at the sub-suction passage 29. The No.2 throttle valve 17 is further connected with a negative pressure diaphragm 50 into which a suction negative pressure is fed through a negative pressure pipe 40, and the No.2 throttle valve 17 closes and the rotary valve 19 opens in the case of a low engine speed. The air-fuel mixture is thus fed to a combustion chamber after its flow speed is increased through the work of the sub-suction passages 27 and 29.

Further, the valve 14 is connected to a vacuum diaphragm unit (not shown) controlled by means of air intake tube vacuum, and directed to closing operation at low speed time of the engine. Thus, preheated mixture gas is introduced through the passages 20, 21 into a combustion chamber 4.
