摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the cumulus of deposits by reducing the temperature of the injection port of a fuel injection valve lower than the specified distillation temperature of fuel, and make a deposit precursor flow out and from the injection port by ejection flow of fuel, and eliminating the deposit precursor, while holding the deposit precursor in fuel in a liquid phase condition. SOLUTION: In a deposit reducing type fuel injection valve 1, the temperature of the injection port 3 of a fuel injection valve 1 is reduced lower than a temperature which distillates from fuel for 90%, and a cooling water passage 5 is arranged on the top end part of the fuel injection valve 1 so as to cool the top end part of the fuel injection valve 1 positively. A deposit precursor included in fuel is dispersed and held in a liquid phase condition, it is prevented adhesion between the inner surface of the injection port 3 and the precursor from applying thereon so as to suppress the cumulus of deposits on the inner surface of the injection port 3, and also the precursor dispersed in fuel flows out from the injection port 3 together with in distillation fuel having fluid performance when fuel is injected.

Namely, the nozzle hole 1 is formed at the lower end of a nozzle 11 arranged on the lower part of a fuel injection valve, and a shoulder part 14 having an angle larger than the shaft of the nozzle hole 1 is formed at a part to which a nozzle chamber 13 and the nozzle hole 1 are connected, and the shoulder part 14 is formed so as to form a large angle near a right angle to the inner circumferential wall of the nozzle hole 1. The deposit sticking layer is divided into a layer of the deposit stuck on the inner circumferential wall of the nozzle hole 1 and a layer of the deposit stuck on the inner circumferential wall of the nozzle chamber 13 so as to suppress growth.

SOLUTION: A cylindrical holder part 24 has a fuel passage therein and accommodates a compression coil spring 28 for energizing a check valve element 27 in the direction to abut on a valve seat 29. A cylinder part 25 is formed to have an outside diameter about equal to the inside diameter of a body side mounting press-in hole 14 and has an axial hole 30 therein. The holder part 24 has a flange 26 capable of abutting and being welded to the outer wall of a pump body 11. To mount the check valve to the pump body 11, the cylinder part 25 of the check valve is pressed into a pump side mounting press-in hole 14 to facilitate mounting of the check valve 21 to the pump body 11. In this case, a connection made by pressing-in alone or by both pressing-in and welding can be used.

The injector 10 can be easily mounted on the engine head 1 and be easily removed from the engine head 1 by a cylinder screw 60 by pressing the tapered surface 11b by the cylinder screw 60 in a direction that the injector 10 is removed from the engine head 1.

Since an axial length of the cylinder screw 60 to which a fastening force is applied is short, an amount of strain of the members constituting the injector 10 is decreased and then a fluctuation of fuel injecting characteristic can be restricted.

SOLUTION: An annular groove 21 is formed in a fuel pressurizing chamber 25 side end part of a plunger 20, and a C-shaped or U-shaped annular clip 22 is fitted to this annular groove 21. The annular clp 22 is locked on a step part 16 in a state before installing a high pressure supply pump 10 in an engine to easily prevent falling-off of a force receiving member 30 and the plunger 20. The force receiving member 30 is constituted in a bottomed cylinder shape by a plate-like tappet 31 and a cylindrical sliding member 32. The tappet 31 slides with a pump cam, and receives driving force of the engine. An inner peripheral wall of the sliding member 32 slides with an outer peripheral wall of a cylindrically formed guide part 12 of a housing 11, and is reciprocatably guided by the guide part 12. A coil spring 33 is larger in a diameter than the guide part 12 of the housing 11, and energizes the sliding member 32 to the pump cam side.
