    • PURPOSE: To improve the damping characteristic of the engine vibration especially in the low frequency range by dispersely embedding micro capsules having chamber bodies to be communicated with each other by an orifice part in a vulcanized rubber part in a vibration isolating rubber where the vibration isolating part is formed only of a vulcanized rubber part. CONSTITUTION: A vibration isolating part which is mounted on a chassis, etc., of an automobile and suitable for the engine mount consists of upper and lower fitting plate parts 35, 37 provide with fitting bolts 31, 33, and a vibration isolating rubber part (vulcanized rubber part) 39 to be interposed between the fitting plate parts 35, 37. Micro capsules 45 having chamber bodies 43A, 43B to be connected to each other by an orifice part 41 are dispersely embedded in the vulcanized rubber part 39. The micro capsules 45 can follow the compressive deformation of the vulcanized rubber part 39, and the viscous liquid 47 whose volume exceeds the volume of one of the chambers in the compression is filled therein. The excellent vibration isolating performance equivalent to that of the liquid-seal engine mount can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the extent of riding quality by ensuring the free twisting displacement of a stabilizer bar. CONSTITUTION:A stabilizer bar 2 is inserted and held in a vibrationproof rubber body 1 made up into a cylindrical form. An inner circumferential ring part 11 of the rubber body 1 in contact with an outer circumferential surface of this stabilizer bar 2 is composed of a silicone material, and a body part, 13 of the remaining vibrationproof rubber body 1 is composed of a blend rubber material of silicone rubber and ethylene propylene rubber. As the inner circumferential ring part 11 consisting of silicone rubber material is very small in frictional resistance, the stabilizer bar 2 is possible to do its twisting displacement freely, so that the extent of riding quality is thus improved. The body part 13 constituted with the blend rubber material is firmly connected to the inner circumferential ring part 11 with each other by means of co-vulcanization, so it has sufficient durability without entailing any separation or the like.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a vibration-proof bush without increase of a spring constant even in the state of a stopper plate abutting and excellent in vibration absorption. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a vibration-proof bush provided with a vibration- proof rubber body 3 between an inner pipe 1 and an outer pipe 2, the outer pipe 2 is put under pressure into the retention opening 41a of a bracket 4 and fixed thereat. A stopper plate 5 is provided at the end portion of the inner pipe 1 and its plate surface 5a is made opposite to the opening edge 411 of a retention cylinder 41 with a space left. The stopper plate 5 is made up of a rubber elastic material, and a fibre layer of a low friction coefficient is integrally formed on the plate surface 5a facing the retention cylinder 41. Even if vibration is inputted from an axis straight direction in a state in which the plate surface 5a butts against the opening edge 411, friction between the plate surface 5a and the opening edge 411 is restrained sufficiently small as the fibre layer is formed on the plate surface 5a, and effective vibration absorption is accomplished by means of a low spring constant.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an electroviscous fluid wherein a dispersing phase is hardly separated from a liq. phase with time and the flash point is not lowered and it is safe even when the viscosity is decreased and the electroviscosity effect is not decreased with water by incorporating a liq. phase consisting of a perfluorinated liq. and a specified amt. of a dispersing phase consisting of a water-contg. silicate. CONSTITUTION:An electroviscous fluid is obtd. by incorporating a liq. phase consisting of a perfluorinated liq. [e.g. a mixture of C6F14-C8F18 (Fluorinate FC43, manufactured by Sumitomo 3M Co., Ltd.)] and a dispersing phase consisting of a water-contg. silicate (e.g. silica gel, zeolite, or aluminum silicate) and regulating the content of the dispersing phase to 5-15wt.%. This fluid has characteristics that there is hardly a possibility that the dispersing phase is separated from the liq. phase with time and the flash point is not lowered even when the viscosity is lowered and handling is safe, and furthermore, the electroviscosity effect is not lowered by water.
