    • PURPOSE:To prevent invasion of water, dusts, or the like effectively by providing a pair of outer cylinders, an inner cylinder forming a swollen part, a ring like insert capable of being elastically deformed, an elastic layer, and a cylindrical sealing member a hose inner peripheral rim extends to the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder to make contact there with liquid-tightly. CONSTITUTION:Outer cylinders 1 are compressively inserted into a retainer 5 for positioning an inserter 3 respectively from both opening parts. Each outer cylinder 1 is formed thick so that inner peripheries of mutually opposing inner end halves may be mutually formed in symmetrical arc 5, 14. A spherical concave 1a is formed on a swollen part 21 by the arcs 14. Rubber sealing members 4 are connected to the inner peripheries of outer end halves of the outer cylinder 1, and outer periphery of an inner end opening part is connected to inner periphery the outer cylinder 1. A rubber elastic layer 45 of a proscribed thickness is extendingly formed, covering the inner periphery of the inner end halves of the outer cylinder 1, from the inner end of each sealing member 4. Those rubber elastic layers 45 are in elastic contact with the outer periphery of the insert 3 so as to make the insert 3 to be deformed in contact with the outer periphery of the swollen part 21.

    • PURPOSE:To form a slidable surface having the excellent abrasion resistance and the sufficient joint strength with a rubber member. CONSTITUTION:A fiber layer 3 is heat-welded on the slidable surface 1a on the inner and outer peripheries of a cylindrical vibrationproof rubber body 1 through a film layer 2. The film layer 2 is constituted of an olefine group resin film 21 having polarity functional groups on the vibrationproof rubber body 1 side and a thermoplstic resin film 22 having the polarity on the fiber layer 3 side. Since the olefine group resin film 21 having the polarity functional groups is firmly joined with the rubber member, generation of exfoliation is prevented. Further, the resin film 21 is firmly joined also with the thermoplastic resin film 22 having polarity. The thermoplastic resin film 22 is firmly attached with the fiber layer 3, and since each degree of freedom in the material, density, weave method, etc., of the fiber layer 3 is high, the excellent slidableness can be obtained by using the fibers having the excellent abrasion resistance.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a manufacturing method of a spherical slide bushing which can always give guarantee of excellent operation even if components have a certain extent of errors in manufacturing. CONSTITUTION:An insert 4A and an external barrel 2A are pressed in the lower end opening of a barrel-like holding member 1 beforehand. An internal barrel 3 is inserted into the upper end opening to force a spherical swelling section 31 to about the recessed face 41 of the insert 4A and is made to rotate by means of a rotary drive shaft 91 inserted into and fixed in the internal barrel 3. An insert 4B and an external barrel 2B are gradually pressed in the upper opening of a holding member 1 to force the recessed face 41 of the insert 4B to abut the external periphery of the swelling section 31 so that the torque of the rotary drive shaft 91 after the abutting may be detected by a torque detector 6 and the abovementioned press-in process is stopped when the torque reaches the specified value. Since the torque of the rotary drive shaft 91 varies according to the variation of the contact pressure between the recessed face 41 and swelling section 31, if the press-in process is stopped at a position where the above torque indicates a proper value, proper contact pressure can be realized regardless of errors in manufacture of the inserts 4A and 4B and internal barrel 3 and excellent operation can be realized.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the extent of riding quality by ensuring the free twisting displacement of a stabilizer bar. CONSTITUTION:A stabilizer bar 2 is inserted and held in a vibrationproof rubber body 1 made up into a cylindrical form. An inner circumferential ring part 11 of the rubber body 1 in contact with an outer circumferential surface of this stabilizer bar 2 is composed of a silicone material, and a body part, 13 of the remaining vibrationproof rubber body 1 is composed of a blend rubber material of silicone rubber and ethylene propylene rubber. As the inner circumferential ring part 11 consisting of silicone rubber material is very small in frictional resistance, the stabilizer bar 2 is possible to do its twisting displacement freely, so that the extent of riding quality is thus improved. The body part 13 constituted with the blend rubber material is firmly connected to the inner circumferential ring part 11 with each other by means of co-vulcanization, so it has sufficient durability without entailing any separation or the like.

    • PURPOSE:To effectively prevent generation of looseness and decrease of seal performance due to movement while making a number of parts substantially reduceable by forming a seal layer, closely attached to an opening edge, in an opposed face of a flange part and an elastic layer, brought into elastic contact with an outer end of each insert, in an inner end of each outer cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Infiltration of water or the like from the outside is prevented while well holding grease in a sliding part by a seal member 4 in a use condition of a bush. Infiltration of water via contact surfaces of an internal periphery of a holding part 5 and an external periphery of an outer cylinder l is also prevented by a seal layer 12. Here, an insert 3 is brought into contact with the inner end of the outer cylinder l through an elastic layer 44, so that outward movement of the insert is surely impeded even when outward force in the axial direction acts on the insert 3, and a problem, in which the seal member 3 is deformed by the movement, is prevented from being generated. Further, looseness is prevented from its generation by bringing the insert 3 always into good contact with the peripheral surface of a swollen part 21 by elastic force even when a recessed surface 3a is worn by use for a long period because the insert 3 is always urged to the inner of the axial direction by the elastic layer 44.

    • PURPOSE:To provide good performance at low cost by elastically deforming an insert into the shape following an outer periphery of a swelling section, heating the same up to the heating deformation temperature to lower its elastic restoration force and deforming a recessed surface of an inner periphery into the shape accurately following the outer periphery of the swelling section. CONSTITUTION:An insert 3 is composed of a resin material of good sliding properties such as ultra-high-molecular polyethylene, polyacetal or the like, and a hole is formed in the ring shape and its inner diameter is made slightly smaller than the outer diameter of a swelling section 21. Respective inserts 3 are pushed to the inner end of an outer cylinder 1 and their inner peripheral recessed sections 3a are brought into contact with the swelling section 21 and stretch deformed elastically into the shape following the outer periphery of the swelling section 21. When the insert is placed in the atmosphere of the heat deformation temperature or of the insert 3 or over, its elastic restoration is lost gradually, and the inner peripheral recessed section 3a is formed into the shape following the outer periphery of the swelling section 21 accurately and simultaneously contact force is made sufficiently small. Thus, a spherical surface sliding bush without looseness can be manufactured inexpensively without the necessity of high machining accuracy.

CONSTITUTION:An insert 3A is made of a resin material excellent in its sliding property, and the inner periphery thereof is formed in a spherical concave 3a along the outer periphery of the above-described swollen part 21. The insert 3A is composed of a thick base 31 and a thin extending part 32 extending therefrom. The base 31 is formed in an approximately trapezoid section having a plane formed outer periphery and the inner periphery composing a part of the concave 3a. An insert 3B is formed in an approximately trapezoid section composed of an elastic material such as hard urethane or hard rubber, or the like, and the inner periphery thereof is formed as a spherical concave and connected elastically to the outer peripheral surface of an extending part of the insert 3A, while the outer periphery thereof is formed in a plane and connected elastically to the inner periphery of a retainer 5.
