In this state, image data obtained by an A/D con verter 121 of an image input device 12 is stored directly in the storage area (a) of the main memory 131, held in the image data storage area (c) processed by a CPU 132, and the image data is read out successively therefrom and sent to a D/A converter 142 of an image output device 14. In such a way, parts (a), (c) of the main memory 131 of the personal computer 13 are used in common as an image memory. In such a way, since the transfer time at the time of input and at the time of output are eliminated, a real time processing can be executed.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the maintenance jobs and the change of paths and to improve the safety in the title system by driving a self-traveling vehicle at the center of each pair of marker lamps and setting a path just with allocation of the marker lamps. CONSTITUTION:A self-traveling vehicle 11 is prepared together with an image pickup device 12, and an image pickup direction controller 13 which functions to always set in the traveling direction of the vehicle 11. The vehicle 11 contains a picture processor 14, a control computer 15, a traveling controller 16, a traveling driver 17, a traveling direction controller 18, and a data input device 19. Then the pairs of marker lamps are sequentially set at both sides of a traveling path and the vehicle 11 photographs the traveling direction of the path. Then only the optical pictures are taken out of those photographed pictures and divided vertically into two parts. One of these right and left pictures is turned over and the vehicle 11 is driven with the correlation secured between both pictures. Thus the vehicle 11 can travel at the center of the path in the correct direction. As a result, the maintenance jobs and the change of the traveling path can be facilitated together with improvement secured for the safety in a guidance system for self-traveling vehicles.

    • PURPOSE:To avoid an inadvertent initialization of an arithmetic device in its normal use mode, by initializing the arithmetic device only when the internal state of an arithmetic processor is unstable during replacement of batteries. CONSTITUTION:When a cover 12 is slid for replacement of batteries, a contact bar 5a connected to a minus pole current supply line 6 conducts together with a switching electrode 8a of an initialization signal supply line 8. Then the minus pole current, i.e., the initialization signal is applied to the reset terminal of an arithmetic device. Thus the arithmetic device is initialized and set under a fixed state to discontinue the function of a computer. When the cover 12 is closed after replacement of batteries, the conduction is cut off for the bar 5a and the electrode 8a. Thus the initialization is released.

    • PURPOSE:To restrain turbulence generated in changing the flow direction of fluid effectively so as to make the flow smooth by providing a plurality of flat speakers at the wings of a flying body, and thereby radiating sound waves to the turbulence generating on the top surfaces of the winds in response to the moving speed of the flying body. CONSTITUTION:In the application to an aircraft, a plurality of flat speakers 12 are arranged juxtaposedly on the top surfaces of wings 11 thereof, and low frequency sound signals (about 20 to 800 Hz)from a sound source 13 is amplified with a variable gain amplifier 14 and radiated as sound waves from the speakers 12. The source 13 and the amplifier 14 can be frequency controlled and gain controlled according to detection speed information from a speed sensor 15. The control is carried out through a computer 16. Namely, since turbulence generated on the top surfaces of wings 11 increases as the moving speed of aircraft increases, the generation frequency of sound source 13 is changed properly according to the increase of moving speed of aircraft so as to increase gains of the amplifier 14.
